IDAHOT 2017
Under the theme “Love makes a Family”, TIRZ participated in the 2-day IDAHOT celebrations that were co-hosted by the American, Canadian, and British Embassies. The first day featured a movie screening and sharing around LGBTI families, and the 2nd day constituted a family fun day. TIRZ worked with ZCLDN (Zimbabwe Civil Liberties and Drug Network) to deliver insightful information around the trans and intersex community, substance use, misuse, and abuse, and the two organisations and the work that they are pursuing.
